Sport Biomechanics

Course Description

This course is a 3-credit undergraduate level course designed to deal with basic biomechanical issues such as a) basic concepts of kinematics and kinetics b) body structure and function c) kinetics and kinematics of body movements d) fluid biomechanics. This course mainly uses a lecture approach and at the end of semester student will have a chance to visit biomechanics lab to enhance their learning.

Course Objectives/Outcomes

Students will:

1. Be introduced to the basic concepts of anatomy, kinetics and kinematics.

2. Be understood the principal of body movement.

3. Be introduced to principal of physics to interpret human movement.

4. Be able to apply kinematics and kinetics concepts to real field.
